Your Score: Android or Hologram

You scored 60 % Aggressivness, 80 % Technology, and 60 % Social Enlightenment!

Homeworld: n/a

Hmmm, interesting. You have a high level of technological development, you're aggressive and yet you're still extremely socially progressive. How is this possible? It's not! At least not naturally, anyway (and not in the Star Trek universe). This suggests that you are either an android or a hologram, meaning you're are capable of just about anything. You can be aggressive, but also peaceful. By your very nature, you have a high level technology yet many androids or holograms seek to enhance their humanity. You defy categorisation and have superceded mere organic life to become a totally different breed of lifeform...

Read Me a Story
I got into a discussion the other around the lunchroom table with some fellow instructors at the college. The subject of reading to your kids came up. I ‘m all for that, but in some ways I have missed the boat. I tried reading “The Hobbit” to them when they were around 5 or 6. I figured it would be perfect reading a chapter a night, but they never took too it. The High Priestess now reads to Technowitch, because TW says I make the stories too scary. I digress. The main point is reading to kids is tricky. There is a narrow window for every kind of book. For me, the book has to be interesting for me to read as well. God only knows how many times I wanted to claw my eyes out after reading the Princess Dairies. I hate insipid stories, or book with the politically correct morals and characters.

I want to post my favorite bedtime books. Theses are the ones that never get old to me and can be quite a bit of fun when read correctly. Present loosely in some sort of age order from young child to pre-teen.

Take Me Out of the Bathtub By Alan Katz
I’m Still Here in the Bathtub By Alan Katz
The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King

By no means is this THE list of books you should read to your children. I love Dr. Seuss and Richard Scary. I grew up with all the books from “Green Eggs and Ham” to “Busy, Busy World”. I’m sure everyone has those books on their short list. Why mention them again and again?

Nine Great Questions on the subject of GOD:

1) Do you believe in a God?

Yes

2) Why do you think man was created?

So God has someone to interact with that has indepent thought. A being who thoughts are not influnced directly by God like the Angels.

3) Describe how you see God.

As a friend.... I don't really have a physicals picture of God in my head.

God talks to me all the time, but I have a hard time listening.

4) Does God hate?

Yep, of course God probably has a whole bunch of emotions that can't be comprehended by human being. If God does hate something does not mean God behaves the same way when humans hate something. God probablly hates human who do not live up to their true potential. The version of hate felt by God is probably more like disappoinment.

5) Is God perfect and without mistakes?

By Definitions Yes. Only the humans think in terms of mistakes. Mostly because the don't like the outcome of an event. That idiot who blews the Cubs chances for a world series probably saved the universe. You don't know and never will know the whole truth. To paint a perfect picture sometimes you have to use some pretty dark colors.

6) How do you think God sees people?

Mostly as teenagers and children. There are a few God really thinks are cool to hang around with.

7) Do you think God has a plan for everyone?

Yes, but that doesn't mean God's plan and your plan for your life are the same.

8) What do you consider sin?

Doing stuff I blantly know is wrong or harmful. Which means everyday I fall short, because I 'm a willful person and somedays I care more about myself than others.

That being said ..I believe in forgiveness too. Be forgiven doesn't mean you won't get punish, but it does mean you get a second chance to prove yourself.

9) What rules do you follow?

a) Pursue Justice
b) Defend the Weak
c) Never give Evil any quarter.
d) Acknowledge beauty
