One of the little gifts about turning 40 is my driver's liecne expired on my birthday. My son was looking at my official state document the other day and asked what does expired mean. I've been looting the highways for the last 74 days.

On a scary note, my oldest son, can drive next year. OMG!!!! At 14, you can get a graduated premit with a driver's ed course under your belt and willing parents behind you. He won't be able to drive at night, but he can drive to work and school from home. This makes me wish I did not donate my old 93 Mercury Tracer Wagon to the blind. Of course maybe he will save his cash and buy a used car, instead of blowing it on video games and candy.
