Normally, I'm all for let people hang themselves with their own stupidity, but someone really needs to talk to Ms. Palin before she trains herself on national TV again. COM'ON guys you have all that scenic beauty and your camera shot is the slaughter table covered in blood?!?!? I can take a better shot than that.

Meet my latest addiction.

I've been using Netflix for the past 2 weeks. I've been scoffing at the monthly fee. Why pay $10-20 a month for movies I can get for a $1 at Mr. Movies? Now I know. I can now find all the old films the local video store doesn't carry, along with the current releases. I know it doesn't sound great, but I watch the first two season of MI-5 and a ton of other movies that I could never find here or at Best Buy. So the fee has paid for itself this month.

The other neat thing is I can watch movies and show on my computer when ever I want. So what you say? Remember the 52 inch mind bomb? I hook Mandi into it about the second day I got my Sony toy so I could watch stuff off my hard drive. Now I can run Netflix from Mandi and see it on the TV which is very KEWL.

Two of the best Episode for Doctor Who season three are getting ready to air. The first airs Friday September 7th on the SciFi Channel. It's the second part of a 2 part episode called "The Family of Blood". I think it's well written and I like this last bit here:

"He never raised his voice, that was the worst thing. The fury of the Time Lord, and then we discovered why. As for me, I was suspended in time and the Doctor put me to work, standing over the fields of England as their protector. We wanted to live forever, so the Doctor made sure that we did."

The next episode after that is "Blink". If y9ou miss "The Family of Blood" you have to catch this one on the SciFi Channel September 14. Turn off the the light and watch this one for sure.

"Tivo is greater than the gift of life!" - Patton Oswalt

I bought a Tivo in August so I could catch House. OMG! This is so sool. Yes, you can get a DVR from Mediacom but I'm not giving them any more of my money. My Tivo is so cute looking for programs to record for me when I'm out. One time I record the Hawkeyes and the next day TIVO went ape and record every football game! So I have to watch my Tivo and make sure that Tivo has my best interests at heart. Tivo will random record show just to see if you like them or not, then it does a best guess based on what you recorded before. Right now Tivo is just record everything on the Sci Fi channel, which is fine. Tivo's best guesses for me have been: CSI, Mythbuster, Naked Science, and the Outer Limits. Tivo's worst guesses for me: Oprah, Telemondo(?!?!), and ABC News.
