Twelve year ago today I was racing toward the hospital, 0ne year and nine days, after the first trip for my first son. This time was different because my wife was screaming her head off and this baby wanted to be born now! I always feel some regret recalling this moment because I was trying not to make a since getting my wife into the ER. Some Nurse on her smoking break, yelled we have a "screaming woman out here" while I was try to get her out of the car and find a wheelchair or something. Cooler heads prevailed and got her inside. My second son "exploded" into the world. We didn't even make it to the birthing room! The nurse ran around the room like chikens with their heads chopped off! They actually grabbed some poor doctor who just happend to be walking by and he had to "play catch". Five minutes from car to holding a baby!

My second son has not slowed down since he birth. He explodes across the cosmos riding Apollo's Daybright Charriot with bot reins pulled tight. He's funny, bright, and just makes me happy. He has a dark side too, he can be lazy and stubborn. Sometime I think my #2 son learns from the actions of my first son. I want so much for both of them, but I swear I have know idea how they turned out the way they did.

Now before you get all mushy, and think what a soft touch I am. Time for something crude. Do any you parents out there remember when your kids were concieved? I remember each one of mine. Which is interesting because other than dropping eldest on his head more than his sibling, that the one of the things I come up with for their personalities. My wife says my eldest takes after her. Nay..... I think I just yelled at him too much during his formative years.
