I must say I am quite please with myself. Every Semester I daydream a bunch of things I want to get done during the summer and the past few days I done several things that have been rattling around in my head for awhile.

I updated my business cards, so I don't have to hang my head in same at the next conference or meeting I attend.

Finally, built an entertainment center for my office and made a matching computer desk for my macintosh. I love Menards. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut wood! I've had this idea for awhile: Saturday, I drew up plans on graph paper. Sunday, I brought the wood ($100) and started construction. I finished about 1 A.M. in the morning. ( Yeah, the neighbors didn't like the circular saw running at midnight, but phuck'em, If I have to listen to their cats fornacate at 5 A.M. I need some payback.) Monday, I rearranged my home office (Male bonding cave). Tuesday (Today), made a desk out what was left over and a second trip to Menards.

I must say I'm contend. I don't need a huge house and swimming pool. I got my computer/office/cave/library/den/Lair to plot world domination room. and downstairs I have my workshop/evil laboratory/hobby room where I can pursue my intellectual interests. Right now I'm testing out some really cool sensor, I got for the college lab for next semester. Did you know that Tarantula's blood is based on copper, and has a blue color when oxidized?

I'm happy.... I've always wanting a Wizard's tower, but this is a good second best. I thought about the tower fantasy alot, and have found a way to make it work. All I need is a farm house with a couple of old fashion stone silos. There are a couple place I've where farm silo have been changed to functioning living space. Very Cool!
