Ok! It’s the first week of summer break for me!

I stockpiled lots of porn on DVD, Jello and assorted farm animals. I finally ready to enjoy myself.

Actually, I’ve gone out and brought several things to keep Amanda happy for the next few weeks. Her dual core AMDs will be fast and happy. Last night the dual graphics cards hit 160 degrees (71 C). So beside World of Warcraft, what is on the summer fun and games list.

Pinnacle’s Studio 9(10.5) - Not a game and I have used this before on Antonia, but on Amanda this is truly amazing software for converting video and making DVDs. Antonia would take all night to capture, convert, and burn to DVD two hours worth of video. Amanda does it in 10 minutes!

Galactic Civilization II: Dread Lords – Civilization in space. Fun but can be very long in the turn department. Also the AI seems to want to give up the game just when you start opening a can of Whoop Ass of Hurt on it. Amanda’s dual CPUs seems to give it problems, especially during the ship to ship combat. The key seems to be grab every habitable planet before the AI can, because planetary siege sucks the big one.

Tomb Raider: Legends – Yes, I’m a Lara Croft fan. Ancient Ruins, Big Guns, and a woman with a phat ass you know I’m so there like the dog I am. On a non-sexist, I’ve always liked the TR series, because the gameplay was always reasonable. You don’t need super human relaxes, or hours of time for each level, and there were a lot of secrets to find. This game is no different and you get bonus perk of unlocking secret weapons and outfits for Lady Croft and the other cast member. The new controls are a bit different from the past and take some getting use to. This makes the jumping puzzle a pain in the butt. I really hate jumping puzzles.

Oblivion: Elder Scrolls IV – This game is deep, perhaps to deep for what I want. Do I really want to haggle every time I sell imp galls? The game is beautifully render, but the people creep me out. One of the shopkeepers looks like my church pastor. The opening voice-overs are done by Patrick Stewart, if I recognized his voice correctly. The game has a good deal of detail, character types, skills, and options. There are so many choice it is bewildering at first. Obviously the game is meant to be played multiple times. I will have to get back to you on this one. I suspect this will be a love/hate relationship.
