Snowed-In

I spent the last 24 hours without electrical power. I'm a little cranky. However, I realize how fortunate I am. As the temperature dropped in the house from a brisk 68 degrees down to 48 degrees. You never realize the steady hum of the genie until he decides to leave.

I spent last night with my family in the master bedroom. Makes me think of what it was like in the 19th century, farm families living in little houses on the prairie.
