OK I was going to leave this rant as a comment, but I kept going on. Kirsten I hope this answers your questions.

I was saying women have a great deal of power if they would move as a group. Women have complained they can run the country better for a long time, however they make choices that hurt their own cause. With 51% of the vote that shouldn't happen. Women could have had several good female candidates now, if they would have just stuck together. You wouldn't even have to have 100% support because there are men who will vote for women candidates too.

Do you realize you could form your own party and tell the Dems and Reps to go take a flying leap? You've have seen a Woman as Sec. of State, and even more unlikely a Black Woman as the nation Security Advisor. The time is right. You CAN have a woman in the White House if you just stop and think long term. You don't have to vote for Bush, vote for who ever you want. I will say this if you want to wake up the Democratic Party, write in some woman you want. Write in Ms. Clinton, or Karen Kubby for that matter. If enough of you do that you would so own the Democratic Party in 2008 that they would ask for YOUR APPROVAL for the people on the short list of Presidential Candidates.

HELL...I KNOW IF I HAD A 51% black electorate...we'd have a black president. African American vote as a block with almost 80% of the whole black electorate going to one cause. Things have changed because of that.

Think what you could do! Don't be sticks in the mud! Move! Pull the Damn trigger!

The nation is split 48% to 48%. If Bush were to win, how much easier would it be to get a Woman in 2008? It could be a landslide with all the women voting in a block and half the men being disgusted and voting with you. 75% to 25%. It's there. This could be the turning point in history.


See that New TV show Jack and Bobby? People don't have the foresight to see anything but a white man in the office of the White House! It suppose to take place in 2040 with flash back to the here and now! By 2040 the US should be so mixed that your president would probably be Hispanic! The Women movement is pretty much guaranteeing a white male in office for the next 50 years.

Have you seen Iron Jawed Angels on HBO? Best Case example, the woman got the vote not because of what the stuffy women on the Board thought, but because of the uppity women at the grassroots who protested during WWI.
