Deep down I know my body is trying to lose weight. I keep sabotaging the effort by stuffing Onion Rings, and French fries down my throat. I did the math a couple day ago and this is what I came up with:
1 pound of fat is 3500 food calories. SO if I wanted to lose 1 pound a week I need to lose 3500 calories. Between TKD and stuffing my face at the local buffet, my wieght stay pretty much a constant. So if I can cut something, I should lose some pounds. 3500 calories a week is 500 calories a day. That becomes 167 calories a meal. That's a can of POP! I don't drink sugared pop anymore so I must find some other things. Shouldn't be too much of a praoblem since I keep stuffing myself with onion rings. 167 calories is half a hambruger. 167 calories is a donut. 167 calories is a bag of chips. I have to start saying no to the second hambruger, shake, fries or whatever.
I need to go back the the Volumetrics idea of "eat more, weigh less". Comsume less high density food and eat more bulky less density. You know: Salad! Now to exercise some willpower.
