I finally did it. I spent this weekend converting some vynyl albums to digital files for my Ipod. I found a Sony record player last week for cheap and finally got the cables for my computer. The whole thing reminds me of when I spent my younger years making tapes for my old records. Things came out Ok, but the right/left sound balance is not quite right. I'll need to work on that and rerecord some songs again.

In theory , I can now record my favorite TV shows and Movies and listen to them on my Ipod too.
